According to the latest notification, the district administration of Rawalpindi has decided to close all schools and offices in Rawalpindi district. The closure of schools and offices for four days is aimed at a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM). In the notification, he has clearly stated that schools and offices will be closed from March 21 to March 24, so there will be a public holiday in Rawalpindi from March 20 to March 23.

This is amazing news for the citizens of Rawalpindi to enjoy 4 consecutive holidays of 20 (Sunday), 21 (Monday), 22 (Tuesday) and 23 (Wednesday). Not only the foreign minister appeared in the meeting but also Pakistan Day is coming on March 23. Pakistan will hold the 48th OIC CFM Summit on March 22 and 23 in Islamabad. The meeting will be attended by foreign ministers of all Muslim countries. The purpose of the OIC meeting is to resolve issues and enhance mutual cooperation between Muslim countries for the collective benefit of all Muslims. It is also worth mentioning that the OICCFM meeting will be held on the occasion of Pakistan Day Parade. All delegations attending the Pakistan Day Parade have also been invited and will observe the parade as special guests.
