Official advertisement by PMA Pakistan has been published in Dawn newspaper today. Interested candidates from Punjab, KPK, Balochistan and Sindh are eligible to apply online. There are a total of 150 open merit seats, and 20 seats are reserved for self-finance. If you wish to register yourself, apply before the last date of 17 September 2021.
PMA Pakistan Marine Academy Jobs 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- An unmarried male citizen of Pakistan
- Age as on 31 December 2021:
- ✓ Not more than 20 years,
- ✓ Not more than 21 years for ex-FATA/Gilgit-Baltistan/AJK/Balochistan:
- Minimum Height: 5 feet 4 inches
Educational qualification:
- Candidates must have passed F.Sc or O/A level with minimum 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- O/A level candidates have to submit equivalence certificate;
- Candidates appearing in F.SCI A-Level Part-Il with minimum 6096 can also apply. However, they have to provide a certificate of hope from the Head of the concerned College/Institute. Eto.
- If a candidate fails to secure 55% marks in F.Sc after providing hope certificate, he/she will be disqualified or discharged during training at any stage of the selection process.
How to Register:
- Candidates can register themselves by visiting Pakistan Marine Academy website. http://www.marineacademy.edu.pk.
- Prospectus and application form are available at PMA admission office and PMA website.
- Submit the application form along with the pay order/bank draft. 2500/- in favor of Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), PMA Branch Code-0239. Candidates applying under Self Finance Scheme (SFS) have to submit an additional pay order/bank draft of Rs. 300,000/- along with the application form.
- SFS fee will be refunded in case of selection on open merit.

Selection Procedure
- The entrance tests will be conducted by hired testing services at Abbottabad, Gwadar, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Muzaffarabad (AJK), Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sukkur.
- A minimum of 45% is required to qualify for the entrance test.
- Medical examination of shortlisted candidates will be done at designated hospitals of Army/Navy/PAF.
- Final selection will be based on merit, including final interview and PET (to be conducted at PMA).
- The PET standards are as follows:

Education/training and degrees/certificates awarded.
- 02 years residential training will be given in PMA.
- Associate Degree in Nautical Science and Marine Engineering through NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi;
- Certificates of IMO Recognized Pre-C Compulsory Courses.

- 37 cadets are offered fully paid scholarships. The Ministry of Maritime Affairs sponsors 33 need-based scholarships, and the Global Radiance Group of Companies awards 04 need-based scholarships.

Disqualification
- Submission of tampered academic certificates/mark sheets/documents
- Hiding information in the application form or submitting an incomplete application, or providing false information
- Withdrawal from any Academy/Training Institution including Armed Forces on disciplinary grounds
- Dismissed/removed/rejected from government service including armed forces.
- Convicted by a court of law for moral turpitude
- Subjects and non-combination of diploma holders (DAE) are not eligible.
- Declared medically unfit by the Armed Forces Hospital/Appellate Medical Board
